Happy Birthday Miguel!

My dear husband turns 30 today! I can't believe that I met him when he was only 12! That's crazy!

Miguel's Birthday Party

We celebrated Miguel's 30th birthday with a small family party at our house this afternoon. I made 4 pies for Miguel (since he doesn't like cake), and we listened to music and played video games. Miguel got some cool (in his opinion...I have no clue what they are) gifts for his guitar, and some other things!

5th Tooth!!!

This week is just full of tooth cutting for Brennan! He just cut his 5th tooth this morning...which would explain all of the crankiness yesterday and the waking up crying last night. It's one of the top front teeth, the right side. Again, it's barely in, so he still looks like a vampire!

4th Tooth

Brennan has been working on cutting his 4th tooth for a couple weeks now. It has taken forever to cut, but it finally did today! It's the 'fang' on his top left side. It's barely in yet, but he looks like a little vampire! He's soooo adorable!

Hillsong United

Tonight Miguel and I and a bunch of friends from our church went to the Hillsong United concert in Frisco. If you have never heard of them, then you are totally missing out! They are an AMAZING Christian band. Actually, they are their church's praise and worship band. The are from Hillsong Church in Australia. Did I mention that they are AMAZING???

They have the most most worshipful music, and they truly love the Lord. The concert was such a worship experience.

My Sweet Seet 3 Year Old

I can't believe that Colin is 3 today! My sweet sweet boy is 3! He walk and he talks and he randomly tells me that he loves me. It's so beautiful! He's soooo smart and absolutely loves his family! He's always asking to visit or see or talk to one of them! He is just soooo loving. We are working on the potty training...soon! Colin loves music...all sorts. He says that he is going to play: the piano, drums, harp, violin, flute, guitar, and the trumpet! He can already differentiate between instruments that he hears in music! He definitely takes after Miguel in that department. He enjoys playing with cars, and LOVES dinosaurs! Colin loves his baby brother so much and is so affectionate towards him. I wish he would stop growing up. I love him at this age.

It's a Dinosaur Party!!

We celebrated Colin's 3rd birthday a little early this year...about a week and a half early. Colin decided that he wanted a dinosaur themed party, and that seemed fitting considering he just LOVES dinosaurs! A bunch of his friends came over to celebrate with him and everyone had so much fun!

10 Month Comparison

10 Months Old

Baby Brennan, baby Brennan. 10 months old. Time is flying, and he is growing so fast.

3 teeth, another trying to poke through, crawling (quite oddly), eating big people food, hugging, kissing, cuddling, saying 'mamma' & 'papa', slamming his fits for 'more', and just being himself...Brennan is becoming a little person.

He is so difficult, yet so loving. When you see his smile, it's hard not to melt. He's a beautiful little boy that has his mommy and papi wrapped around his little finger. We love him so much.

Time to start planning his 1st birthday party. I can't believe I'm saying that.

Beautiful Wedding

Miguel and I attended a beautiful wedding this afternoon. It was for our friends, James & Karla from church. The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was fun!

A 3rd Tooth

Brennan got his 3rd tooth today!! I knew a week and a half ago that he was trying so hard to cut it...and it finally poked through today! It's on the top...one of the 'fangs'. The other fang is trying to cut right now too, and when it does we will have a little vampire on out hands!

YG Lunch

I am now officially the leader of the YG lunches! Yay! That is totally the thing that I enjoy doing! Anything that involves cooking and/or baking!

More prayers have been answered! Tj & Elissa (guitar player & singer) have decided to offer their home for the lunches on the 1st & 3rd Sabbath's of the month! 2nd Sabbath is covered at church, so now we only have to find a home for 4th and (whenever there is one) 5th!!! I've already got someone who has tentatively offered..I'm just working on the details! God is so good b/c I was so afraid that this ministry would end once the Pastor stopped hosting them.

Updates

Geez. A lot has been going on with me and my family for the past few months, and I've really slacked on posting. There are so many posts that I wanted to make along the way, but just never found the time to. Hopefully I can get caught up soon. I'll, once again, be back posting.

Answered Prayers

Last Sabbath was the last YG lunch at the Pruehs' (our Pastor) house. Can you say sad??? They are moving to California soon.

Anyway, they have lunch at their house almost every week, and I've helped out a lot. I've been praying for someone to step up and offer their home for the lunches each week. I'd love to take over the ministry...and I would totally offer my home...except that I doubt people would drive an hour to lunch! Our prayers were answered this week. The acoustic guitar player & one of the singers offered their home for lunches. All of the details haven't been worked out yet...but at least we have lunch this week! Praise God!

AAAAHHHH Brennan!

Oh man....

Brennan has been screaming since Friday. Like, not crying...but screaming. He's also been running low grade fever, and not eating at all. I mean really not eating. He drank 7 ounces of formula on Friday...that's it. That's 1 bottle...and he usually drinks 3. He refused all solid foods that day as well. Yesterday, he ate a little more....but not much...and today, he's still not eating and just screaming. I'm pretty sure he's teething. I think he's trying to cut his top 'fangs'. Poor guy...we have been Tylenoling and Motrining (I just made those into verbs!!!) him around the clock. If things aren't better by tomorrow, I'm calling his pediatrician.

8 Year Anniversary

Today Miguel and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary.

We went to diner at Roy's. This was my second time there, and I have to say, it was the BEST dinner that I have ever had! Miguel had called ahead to make reservations. When we got got to our table there was heart confetti scattered on it. When I opened my menu, it was customized and said happy anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Pacheco. All of the staff spoke to us by name and and everyone said happy anniversary. They really do a good job of making you feel special! Our entrees were taking a little longer than expected, so the manager and our server came out and apologized for the wait and gave us desserts on the house. I can't wait to go back!

I'm Getting Old...

First off, HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY Bianca!!! (Saturday)

Second...that's why I feel old. Bianca is 18!!! I met her when she was about 6 MONTHS old. I have known this family for about 18 years...isn't that crazy?!? My baby Binks is 18 years old.

Last night we celebrated her birthday. I was going to miss the party b/c I was scheduled to work, but when I got to work there was a scheduling mix-up, and I was scheduled for 2 hours later that I should have been...so I was able to make the party!

So You Think You Are a Rockstar?

We had a game night with family at our house last night! It was the first one that we've hosted in a while, and we had so much fun playing Guitar Hero World Tour!

Brennan Crawling

Brennan is officially crawling. He doesn't do the traditional crawl...it more like what I described a few posts ago, only, now he's 'perfected' this crazy looking crawl. You have to see him do it...it's rather entertaining.

Harry Potter is Tonight!

Yeah!

I'm so excited! Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince comes out tonight! A bunch of us got tickets to the midnight release. Whitney is already in line at the theater. She is second in line!!! I'm SUPER excited!
