Miguel and I took the boys to the Dallas World Aquarium today. None of us had ever been there before. I'll start by saying that we had fun, a good time. It was nice spending time together as a family. I do think that the $20 for adult tickets and $12 for child tickets was a bit ridiculous. $52 for our family (Brennan is still free). Honestly, I feel that the tickets should have been $10 for adults and $8 for kids. That would have been more worth it for me...and at that price, I
might think about going back. My main complaint was that it smelled. Really. Bad. Like, I said, we had fun as a family, so here are some pics from the trip!

Me with the boys.
By the end of the aquarium, Brennan was in a foul mood. He was hungry and cranky. This is his first public tantrum.
We left the aquarium, and took a few pictures right outside.
And then, mommy & Brennan.
We love the aquarium. It smells so much because they make it as much like their natural habitat as they can which is also why it costs so much. It takes a lot to keep it up and running and to keep things as like nature as possible. I wish it was cheaper also. We have a yearly family pass that my mom got us as a gift.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add I love the pics!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about the price, that's why we went the the grandparents! :)
