New Diet

In my last post, I talked about my weight issues, and feeling inadequate. Well, I've decided to go ahead and give the HCG diet a try. I started my drops on Friday. The first 3 days were my 'loading' days...meaning that I was to eat to capacity, whatever I wanted. I was excited about that, but I must say that the drops made me not hungry...AT ALL. I had to force myself to eat. Today is day 1 of the actual diet.

I'm not hungry, so that's good...b/c it's only 500 calories A DAY!!! I had a piece of melba toast and an apple for a late morning snack and 3 oz. of chicken and spinich for lunch. I'm drinking unsweetened hot tea (b/c I forgot to buy Stevia when I was at the store). For dinner (I've already made it and portioned it out) I'm having 3 oz. chicken, spinich, a piece of melba toast and a handful of strawberries.

I hate to do this, but I have to hold myself accountable, I started off today at 169 pounds. YIKES! I can't believe that I just posted that. I'm supposed to lose anywhere from 0.5 - 2.0 pounds per day. I just weighed myself again (I know, I know, I'm not supposed to do that....but I just couldn't help myself) and I weigh 0.4 pounds off already! w00t!

I'll be tracking my progress here. I hope I can stick to this...b/c if I can, I'll have my weight off in 20 days!

  2. Good luck to ya! I think its awesome that you are sharing the process with us! Thats a lot of weight in a short amount of time,so just be careful, and I know you will do awesome! I am dying to see how it turns out!
